Micah is an adventure and conservation photographer based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Throughout his life he has sought to explore, and to push the boundaries of creativity and sense of adventure.
In 2018 he cycled solo and unsupported across the USA. He has worked in the upper reaches of the Norwegian arctic, supported ocean conservation projects in Madagascar, and explored landscapes from the southern tip of Cape Horn to the high reaches of the Himalaya. Whether he is hiking, running, exploring or diving, Micah enjoys the journey and strives to document and share his work so that it might inspire others.

“I’m drawn to the connections between people, nature, and the wild. I see Life playing out all around me in the artistry of nature’s shapes, colours, and patterns. My aim as a photographer is to capture these fleeting moments, to highlight and celebrate our connection with nature, and to inspire my viewers to explore and conserve our natural world.

Micah is a passionate advocate of rewilding and the simple life. In his spare time he practices yoga, interior design, enjoys sketching and painting, and more often than not, is found venturing out into the remote reaches of the Scottish Highlands with his faithful dog, Nala.
